Hey, I'm Brandon Dinh and I'm a software engineer with a specialty in fullstack development. While there are a lot of ways I can describe myself, at my core I am a builder with a passion for bringing people together.
In previous chapters of my life I was a Michelin trained chef, a food entrepreneur, and a musician. Although I don't do any of those things professionally anymore, they're still prominent activities in my day to day. Even though my career path may have changed, my goal as a human being to exchange culture and create community remains.
I'm so excited to learn more about you. Let's connect and talk about something cool!
This project draws inspiration from an ancient story where a thread was used to navigate a complicated labyrinth, which represents the challenging path junior tech candidates often face during their job search.
Our core objective is to provide a comprehensive solution for job seekers in tech, especially those early in their career. It features advanced searching providing users with the ability to construct, combine and save multi-tiered filtering logic for high precision job searching. In addition, our users can track their job progress with our Job Notebook feature, which allows them to drag and drop into different columns.
To uphold our commitment to constant improvement of the user experience, we've also created a dynamic feedback section, which captures user suggestions for improvements on an open forum, promoting collaboration to guide our future releases with the user in mind.
Making friends is hard. Joining large communities to make friends can be intimidating or too impersonal and on the contrary, applications focused on one-to-one pairing can sometimes be too much pressure, awkward or too personal.
Our application intelligently brings people together into meaningful friend groups centered on communities of their choosing, like 'bookworms', 'travelers', 'bar hoppers', or 'hikers' and prompts open communication in a way that is comfortable for our users.
